West Virginia University Police have issued a Community Notice as they search for a missing student, Jason Busse. The 19-year-old criminology major from Berkeley County was last seen on Friday at noon. He was leaving the PRT Engineering Station and heading towards the Core Arboretum near the Coliseum.
Busse is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 144 pounds, with blue eyes.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Busse's whereabouts to contact the University Police Department immediately at 304-293-3136 or visit their office at 992 Elmer Prince Drive. Information can also be shared anonymously.
The university has provided additional resources for support and assistance, including contacts for various departments such as the WVU Police Department, WVU CARE Team, Carruth Center, Division of Campus Engagement and Compliance, Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, Faculty-Staff Assistance Program, Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center, Office of Campus and Community Life, Student Health, and Division of Student Life.
