West Virginia University Police issued a Campus Warning on Thursday, September 12, following a domestic violence incident that occurred on September 10 in the University Place parking garage located on University Avenue.

The incident did not involve university employees or students.

On Tuesday, UPD officers were alerted to a disturbance in the parking garage and promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. Although the suspect and victim left separately, officers conducted witness interviews and retrieved camera footage to identify a suspect.

An arrest warrant for domestic violence has been issued for Saquan TyQuil Moore. Officers are actively searching for him. Moore is not affiliated with WVU as a student or employee and is now banned from WVU property.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or Moore's whereabouts is asked to contact University Police at 304-293-COPS (2677) or visit their office at 992 Elmer Prince Drive. Information may be shared anonymously.

"I want to publicly thank the individuals who immediately reported this incident," Chief Sherry St. Clair said. "We tell the WVU community that if they see something to say something and this is a direct result of that."
