Washington, D.C – The Supreme Court held that the use of race as a factor in college admissions violates the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.
“The Supreme Court’s decision affirms a core principle of our Constitution that no institution should be allowed to discriminate based on race. College admissions decisions should be based on merit,” said Rep. Alex X. Mooney.
