Streets along the race route will be closed at 8:00AM on Saturday, June 17 and no traffic will be allowed on the route until all runners have cleared the course. Residents within the course boundaries will be unable to leave while the race is occurring. Please make arrangements if you will need to enter or exit your homes before 11:00AM (the 10k portion of the race is usually finished around 10AM, when everything from 2nd Street to Marshall/Joyce wil be reopened to traffic).

Race Course Route

The 10k race begins at 8:30AM beginning from the Clarksburg Fire House on Main Street and runner will continue on Main Street until Marshall where they will turn and continue to Pike St. turning and continuing along pike to Chestnut St. where they will turn, continuing to Main St. where they turn and repeat the course for a second time.

Parking

No street parking will be permitted along the race course. Any vehicles parked on Main or Pike Streets must be moved before 8:00AM to prevent towing. Any vehicles parked within the race course boundaries will be gridlocked until the the race course clears and roads are re-opened. The city provides free parking during the event at the City Parking Garage, the lot behind the Public Library and at metered spots outside of the race course. There are no private lots that we are aware of providing free parking for the event. Please pay attention to posted information at any non-city lot. Be aware the the Air Garage lots behind the county courthouse on Washington require digital payment through smart phone and are enforced 24/7-- that lot has very expensive fines and will immobilize your vehicle until fines well over $100 are paid to release them.

Jackson Square will not be available for parking until after the race ceremonies conclude.
