To expand and improve city communications, Clarksburg's city manager, Tiffany Fell, is adding two new forms of communication to supplement existing efforts through the city's social media networks and the city website.

Brown Street will CLOSED to traffic this Thurs. and Fri.
On Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 8:30AM - 6:00PM and Friday, June 23 from 8:00AM - 6:00PM (likely earlier) the Public Works department will close Brown St.

Some Clarksburg households will be trapped during the 10k Race this weekend
The city would like to remind households located within the Annual Greater Clarksburg 10k Racecourse, that they will be prevented from entering and exiting their neighborhoods once roads are closed for the 10k race.

WARNING: Traffic Disruptions for Annual Clarksburg 10k this Saturday
Streets along the race route will be closed at 8:00AM on Saturday, June 17 and no traffic will be allowed on the route until all runners have cleared the course.

Clarksburg residents interested in running for a seat on Clarksburg City Council or the Clarksburg Water Board in the City’s June 6, 2023 General Election may pick up forms in the Office of the City Clerk beginning Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
