The No. 12 West Virginia University baseball team will face the University of Pittsburgh at Kendrick Family Ballpark in Morgantown on April 21, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m., according to a university announcement.
The annual Backyard Brawl is a highly anticipated matchup between the two teams. Fans are encouraged to participate in a color-coordinated event, with those sitting in even sections, suites, and students asked to wear gold, while odd sections and standing room attendees are encouraged to wear blue as part of an effort to stripe the ballpark.
Tickets for the game can be purchased at WVUGame.com, by phone, or at the Mountaineer Ticket Office. Student tickets are free with a valid WVU ID. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, available via radio through the Mountaineer Sports Network, and live stats can be accessed online.
Parking for the event includes reserved spaces requiring a parking pass near Kendrick Family Ballpark. A limited number of ADA-accessible spots will be available near Gate A and next to the Clubhouse on a first-come basis; general parking is located across from the ballpark.
