The West Virginia University men’s golf team completed play at the Big 12 Golf Championship, finishing in 15th place according to an April 29 announcement.

The event was held at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Mountaineers ended with a total score of 1,164 (+44), five shots ahead of No. 48 Colorado.

Westy McCabe led the team by finishing in 37th place individually with a score of eight-over-par for the week and rounds of 72-71-72-73=288. Kaleb Wilson finished tied for 46th place after shooting even par over the last three rounds and posting scores of 80-71-68-71=290 (+10). Ryan Leach finished at +15 (77-72-73-73=295), Jack Michael posted +17 (75-73-74-75=297), and Nick Turowski rounded out the lineup with +29 (74-80-75-80=309).
