On Tuesday, March 10, at 1 p.m., Autumn Stemple, a former standout from University High School, helped lead the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets to an 8-1 victory over the Mount Aloysius Mounties in an NCAA Division III softball contest.

The matchup, held at Waynesburg Baseball & Softball Complex, marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Stemple pitched seven innings, giving up one earned run with two walks and two strikeouts.

Waynesburg’s next contest is set for Saturday, March 21, at 1 p.m. at Brooks Park, where they will face the Washington and Jefferson Presidents.
