City of Weirton Administrative Offices Closed January 2, 2023

The City of Weirton Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023, in celebration of New Year’s Day. The Public Works and Weirton Transit schedules are as follows:

Public Works – Offices will be closed on Monday, January 2. The schedule for the collection of garbage and recyclables WILL NOT BE ALTERED.
Weirton Transit Corporation – Offices are closed on Monday, January 2. Weirton Transit will be operating on half day service on New Year’s Eve, December 31. The week of New Year’s, they will operate on their Saturday Loop Schedule.

Questions concerning garbage collection should be directed to the Public Works Department at (304) 797-8500, Ext. 3002/3003.

Questions concerning the Weirton Transit Bus Schedule should be directed to the Weirton Transit Corporation at (304) 797-8500, Ext. 1023.
