9 Battlers Earn CSFL All-Conference

The Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) announced its 2022 all-conference and major award winners on Tuesday, as four of the league's nine member institutions boasted major award winners on offense, defense, special teams, and among the CSFL's 2022 rookie class. The announcement of the award winners was made by CSFL Commissioner Dan Mara. Nominating and voting for the awards was conducted by the league's nine head coaches.

The Battlers received 2nd team recognition on both sides of the ball. On the defensive side Zachary Allison was named 2nd team Defensive line. Zach was amongst the league leaders with 49 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Ethan Codeluppi was named 2nd team Defensive back. Ethan was in the top 3 in the CSFL with 43 tackles at the defensive back position.

On the Offensive side Blake Baxter was named 2nd team Wide Receiver. Blake was amongst the league leaders with 496 yards on 33 receptions and 3 touchdowns. Ethan Kelley was named 2nd team Offensive Line. Ethan played every snap on offense at center and was a consistent presence for the battlers.

Defensive Lineman Jabari Gittens-Ampadu, Linebackers Dalton Dunkle, Dylan Knight and Defensive Back Jomel Monpas, earned All - CSFL Defensive Honorable mention. Offensive Lineman Jacob Sharp received All - CSFL Offensive Honorable mention.
