The Alderson Broaddus women's soccer team defeats Glenville State on Wednesday evening at Multi-Sports Performance Stadium. The Battlers held a 57% advantage over the ball resulting in them having more attempted shots than the Lady Pioneers.
Iris Jimenez, would make the first goal in the first half to help the Battlers kick off with the lead.
In the second half, Diana Forero, would make the next goal off a penalty kick giving the Battlers a 2-0 lead against Glenville. Moments later, the Lady Pioneers would score, helping them inch their way up the scoreboard. With ten seconds remaining on the clock in the second half, the Lady Pioneers attempted to tie the game from a corner kick, but would not succeed, giving the Battlers a win at their last home game here at the Multi-Sports Performance Stadium.
