The Senators' unbeaten streak came to an end Wednesday afternoon on the campus of Notre Dame College as the Nation's top team was upset by a Falcon team whose only losses on the season were to ranked opponents (D&E and Charleston).
Four different players scored for Notre Dame. Taylor Dyson scored in the first half and Connor O'Reilly, Simao Coelho, and Ned Dry scored second half goals to give the Falcons a 4-0 win.
D&E outshot Notre Dame 14-8. Four of the Senators' shots were on goal, but none found the back of the net. Notre Dame had five shots on goal. One was saved and four found the net.
The Senators had 7 corners to Notre Dame's 4.
D&E falls to 9-1 overall and 8-1 in the Mountain East Conference, while Notre Dame moves to 10-2-1 overall and 8-2-1 in the MEC.
