The Alderson Broaddus men's soccer team (0-1-1) dropped their Saturday night affair with Malone, 5-1 on the road. Andreas Rossak's goal from the spot provided the scoring for the Battlers.
Goalkeeper Andrew Nephew collected nine saves in a spot start for AB. Angel De Avila along with Rossak fired two shots on goal each.
Alderson Broaddus opens MEC play on Wednesday, August 31st when they visit local foe West Virginia Wesleyan. Kickoff from Buckhannon will be at 7:00 PM.
