78 percent of applicants to Monongalia County Technical Education Center were admitted for fall 2018

At Monongalia County Technical Education Center, 54 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 77 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The public school in Morgantown enrolled 95 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

91 percent of undergraduates are residents of West Virginia, and 9 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (94 percent) and Asian (3 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 36 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 79 percent enrolled.
