The city would like to remind households located within the Annual Greater Clarksburg 10k Racecourse, that they will be prevented from entering and exiting their neighborhoods once roads are closed for the 10k race. Take note of the route. IF you live inside of the route please enter or exit your neighborhood before 8AM. The 10k portion of the race should be the first portion to end and should be over around 10AM. At that time, the roads will be reopened after runners have cleared the course.

At the end of the 10k there are several shorter races which will occur downtown. The residences and businesses within the race boundaries between Main and Pike Streets and Chestnut and Second Streets will not be able to enter or exit until 11AM at the end of the event. Please take note of the racecourse and make other arrangements to prevent becoming trapped if you need to enter and leave during the event.
