Sharron Young, a standout from Morgantown High School, took the court Tuesday, February 24, during the Akron Zips’ 99-85 triumph over the Buffalo Bulls.
The 6-foot sophomore guard tallied five points, grabbed three rebounds and registered two steals across 19 minutes played.
Young and the Akron squad are scheduled to face the Kent State Golden Flashes on the road Friday, February 27 at 8 p.m.
