Sharron Young’s Akron Zips fall to Texas Tech 91-71 in NCAA Tournament

On Friday, March 20, the Akron Zips, featuring former Morgantown High School basketball standout Sharron Young, were defeated 91-71 by the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the NCAA Tournament.

The contest was held at Benchmark International Arena with a tip-off at 12:40 p.m.

Young finished the game with four points and one assist in his 18 minutes on the court.
