On Friday, Feb. 27, former Morgantown High School standout Sharron Young competed in Akron’s 92-70 win against the Kent State Golden Flashes.
The sophomore guard, who stands 6’0″, tallied 19 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists during his 23 minutes on the court.
Looking ahead, Young and the Zips are set to face the Central Michigan Chippewas on the road Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
