Rep. Riley M. Moore, a U.S. Congressman from West Virginia, shared several posts on his social media account between January 31 and February 1, 2026, addressing topics ranging from political endorsements to religious observances and workforce development initiatives.

On January 31, 2026, Moore posted a brief message referencing former President Donald Trump: “Like I said: Trust Trump.”

The following day, Moore marked a significant date in the Christian calendar with a message about St. Brigid of Ireland. On February 1, he wrote: “Happy Feast of St. Brigid of Ireland. She was born a slave and was later freed, after which she became a fearless abbess and peacemaker. Her life of prayer, charity, and hospitality helped bring Christ’s light to Ireland and beyond.

Later that same day, Moore discussed his personal background in skilled trades and introduced an initiative aimed at supporting Americans pursuing similar career paths. He stated: “My experience as a welder opened my eyes to the real costs of building a career in the trades.

That’s why I’m bringing the successful JumpStart Savings Program I started in West Virginia to the federal level. Every American should have the opportunity to start a career in the” The JumpStart Savings Program is an initiative previously launched by Moore in West Virginia designed to help individuals save for expenses related to entering skilled trades careers.

Moore has served as State Treasurer of West Virginia before his tenure in Congress and has been active in promoting policies supporting workforce development and economic opportunities within his state.
