Rep. Riley M. Moore, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of statements on his social media account on March 27 and 28, 2026, regarding legislative priorities and recent actions in Congress.

On March 27, Moore stated: “My constituents didn’t send me to Washington to defund ICE and not pass the SAVE America Act. We need to amend this bill to: – fund ICE – fund CBP – add Voter ID The American people need to us to hold the line.” He also encouraged viewers to watch his interview with Tracy Sabol on NEWSMAX in a separate post: “Watch the entire interview with @TracySabolDC on @NEWSMAX https://t.co/1C9HYKDY0r”.

The following day, Moore criticized Senate Democrats for their support of what he called “Hakeem’s Dream,” referring to recently passed legislation. In his words: “Democrats are DESPERATE! The bill that the Senate passed- aka ‘Hakeem’s Dream’ is America’s worst nightmare. House Republicans are saying HELL NO to this bill, and instead fight to fund ICE, CBP, and HSI. It’s time to put an end to this madness. It’s time to make America”.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are agencies under the Department of Homeland Security responsible for enforcing immigration laws, border security, and investigating transnational crimes respectively.

These statements come amid ongoing debates in Congress over immigration policy funding measures and proposed amendments related to voter identification requirements.
