Rep. Riley M. Moore, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, posted a series of statements on March 25, 2026, regarding the deaths of five infants whose remains were found outside a Washington, D.C., abortion clinic in 2022.

In one post dated March 25, 2026, Moore wrote: “These 5 babies — named Christopher X, Harriet, Phoenix, Holly, and Angel — were likely killed in violation of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban and the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act.”

On the same day, Moore referenced the anniversary of the discovery: “Four years ago today, pro-life activists discovered the remains of 115 aborted babies outside a D.C. abortion clinic. Among these children were 5 fully developed children, some as old as 32 weeks.

Today, we remember them and continue to demand justice for the Five.”

In another statement posted on March 25, 2026, Moore detailed his ongoing efforts since taking office: “I have been fighting for justice for the DC 5 since I was elected to Congress.

Last year, I asked @AGPamBondi to commit to working with me to conduct a full and fair investigation into the deaths of these children and to ensure that justice is served for the DC 5.”

The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act prohibits certain late-term abortion procedures in the United States. The Born-Alive Infant Protection Act requires that infants born alive after attempted abortions receive appropriate medical care. The discovery referenced by Moore occurred in March 2022 when pro-life activists reported finding fetal remains near a D.C. clinic; this event has continued to be cited by anti-abortion advocates seeking further investigation into possible violations of federal law.
