Rep. Riley M. Moore, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to comment on actions taken by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Congress regarding abortion-related investigations and legislative oversight.

On March 25, 2026, Moore posted that “Instead of investigating the abortionists for murder, the Biden DOJ directed the D.C. chief medical examiner to destroy the children’s remains without an autopsy. Then, Biden’s henchmen prosecuted the pro-life activists who brought this awful story to light, even sentencing one”.

In a subsequent post on March 25, 2026, Moore discussed legislative action in Congress: “In the CJS Appropriations Bill passed earlier this year, I fought successfully to include language directing the DOJ to brief Congress on all actions previously taken by the Department in relation to the DC Five. I look forward to receiving that briefing soon. I will not stop”.

The following day, on March 26, 2026, Moore shared a broader message about national discourse: “Our nation is too full of those who are crying ‘down’ — Down with the Police! Down with the churches! Down with teachers! Down with government! Can you build anything down? You can’t. It’s time in our nation to change our words. And let’s begin to use the word UP. Up from all of”.

The posts reference ongoing political debate surrounding federal investigations into abortion practices and subsequent prosecution of activists involved in publicizing those events. The “DC Five” refers to a group of anti-abortion activists whose actions and legal cases have received attention from lawmakers and advocacy groups across party lines.

Moore’s mention of language added to the Commerce, Justice, Science (CJS) Appropriations Bill highlights congressional oversight efforts related to DOJ activities involving high-profile abortion-related incidents.
