The Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield announced on Apr. 27 the schedule for its WVU Olympic Sports Coaches Show, which will take place live at the Mountain State Brewing Company in Morgantown.

The show will feature two dates in May, with rowing coach Jimmy King appearing on Monday, May 4, and baseball coach Steve Sabins closing out the month and the show’s second year on Tuesday, May 12. Both events are set from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mountain State Brewing Company’s Monongahela Boulevard location and will be hosted by Andrew Caridi.

King’s appearance comes as his team prepares for the Big 12 rowing championship on May 17 in Sarasota, Florida. Sabins is scheduled to speak before his team’s final home stand of the season against TCU at Kendrick Family Ballpark from May 14-16. The Mountaineers baseball team will then proceed to Big 12 championship play from May 19-23 at Surprise Stadium in Arizona.

“The two shows for May come at a strategic time when the two coaches will be wrapping up their seasons and preparing for the postseason,” Matt Wells, WVU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs, said. “Coach King and Coach Sabins can not only recap their seasons to date but provide a glimpse of what lies ahead in postseason action.”

For those unable to attend in person, each one-hour show will be archived and made available the following day through several listening options including the Varsity Network App, Apple Podcast Stream, and WVUSports.com audio on demand feature.
