Sophomore Levi Hellmann of the West Virginia University men’s diving team finished his participation at the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, according to a March 28 announcement.

Hellmann placed 48th in the 3-meter event and secured 42nd place on platform during his first career appearance at the championships. This marks a significant milestone for Hellmann as he represented West Virginia University on a national stage.

The conclusion of Hellmann’s events also signals the end of competition for both the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams from West Virginia University for the 2025-26 season. The teams now look ahead to future seasons following their performances this year.

Participation in national championships such as these provides valuable experience for athletes like Hellmann, who can build on this exposure moving forward.
