West Virginia University golfer Kaleb Wilson has been named to the Division I PING All-Midwest Region Team, according to an announcement by the Golf Coaches Association of America on May 30.
Wilson’s selection marks the sixth time in school history that a West Virginia University golfer has received this honor. He is now the first two-time winner in school history, having previously been named last year along with Todd Duncan. Other Mountaineers who have earned this recognition include Max Green in 2024, Mark Goetz in 2021, and Matthew Sharpstene in 2019.
Wilson played in every tournament for West Virginia University for the second consecutive year and set a new school record for lowest season average at 70.42. He won the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational for a second straight year and finished as runner-up at the Island Resort Collegiate.
Over his collegiate career, Wilson competed in an NCAA Regional during each of his last three years as a Mountaineer. Earlier in May, he shot two-under-par at the NCAA Marana Regional.
