On Saturday, April 12, former Robert C. Byrd High School standout Franchesca Alvaro’s current college team, the Salem Tigers, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Lady Jackets Field. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Lady Jackets Field against West Virginia State Yellow Jackets.
