Fairmont State Fighting Falcons, featuring former Morgantown High School standout Dylan Travinski, secured a 10-8 victory over the Lake Erie Storm in NCAA Division II baseball Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m.
The matchup at Mylan Park marked the teams’ first competition against one another this season.
Travinski pitched five innings, allowing three earned runs while walking three and striking out three batters.
The Fighting Falcons are set to play their next game on Friday, March 6, at 12 p.m. against the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers at Panther Park.
