The Big 12 Conference announced on April 10 that West Virginia University’s final football game of the 2026 season against Utah in Salt Lake City has been rescheduled to Friday, Nov. 27. The network designation and kickoff time for the matchup will be released at a later date.
The change in schedule affects both teams as they plan for the end of their regular season. Fans and participants are advised to monitor further announcements regarding broadcast details.
In related news, West Virginia University will wrap up its spring football practice with the Gold-Blue Spring Festival on Saturday, April 18 at Milan Puskar Stadium. This year’s festival will feature a free postgame concert by Jake Owen from approximately 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the game at around 1:30 p.m. Admission is free, but fans must claim tickets through mobile delivery prior to arrival.
The festival will also see changes to its fan experience zone, Almost Heaven Village, which is moving to a new location on the north lawn outside of Milan Puskar Stadium’s north gate. The area offers food trucks, games, entertainment activities and appearances by WVU Spirit Squads before closing just ahead of kickoff.
Additionally, a Mountaineer gear sale featuring more than 2,500 items—including authentic jerseys and helmets—will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with sales being final and payment accepted via major credit cards or cash only.
Season tickets for West Virginia’s seven home games in the upcoming campaign are now available for purchase.
