Arizona State and Marley Washenitz set for NCAA Tournament opener against Virginia

Marley Washenitz, a standout guard who graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and now plays for the Arizona State Sun Devils, will participate in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.

The Sun Devils, seeded 10th, open tournament play against fellow No. 10 seed Virginia Cavaliers.

The opening matchup is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 9 p.m. in Carver Hawkeye Arena.
