Sharron Young, a former Morgantown High School star who now plays for Akron, is set to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
Akron enters the tournament as the No. 12 seed and will face the fifth-seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 20, at 12:40 p.m. at Benchmark International Arena.
